At The Early Years Academy, our foundation is rooted in a rich legacy of childcare excellence. Co-founded by Kim McCarthy, a childcare professional with over 25 years of experience, The Early Years Academy represents the culmination of a family tradition dedicated to nurturing and educating young minds in Blackrock, Dublin.
Kim’s journey in childcare began with Simbas Childcare, a renowned Montessori setting in Blackrock. Founded in collaboration with her mother, Maureen, Simbas Childcare quickly became a trusted name in the community, celebrated for its warm, welcoming environment and unwavering commitment to exceptional childcare.
Now, with the involvement of her daughter Nakita, The Early Years Academy opens a new chapter in their family's childcare journey. This venture brings a fresh perspective to the time-honored values that have guided their family for years, continuing the legacy of providing outstanding childcare and early education.
Our Approach
